This campaign began as simply “Be Mightier” and was developed as a rebranding concept for wholesale auto parts distributor Mighty Distributing. The message was to reinforce the strength of the Mighty brand and capitalize on the powerful definition of the word. The campaign was set to be launched in the spring of 2020.
As we all know, in April, 2020 the world was faced with a pandemic of unprecedented proportions. Mighty was faced with the challenge of having to pivot this campaign into something that would not only inspire, but also inform our customers that they could also depend on us to provide them with PPE (personal protective equipment.)
In partnership with members of the marketing team, I concepted a series of posts to educate our customers, and potential customers, on the various types of PPE we had available and transformed “Be Mightier” into the “Be Mightier Together” slogan. I petitioned our franchise community for photos and stories of how they stepped up and were “Mightier” within their communities during such a difficult time. We also asked for stories from our fans and followers.
The campaign ran from April through June.
