Helping Hands is a senior concierge servicing the northeast portion of the Atlanta Metro area.
My goal throughout the design process was to design a logo that was simple and memorable while looking both professional, established and easily received by the senior community.
The color pallet is the most important aspect of the final logo design. I elected to go with dark, cool colors as research showed that older adults can see and digest those colors more readily.
The blue tones evoke soothing, meditative, peaceful feelings and are also known to lower blood pressure.
The purple tones evoke feelings of comfort, protection and calm.
The colors create a high-contrast effect which makes it easier to read.
